During the meeting which was attended by Japanese ambassador to Libya, the Chairwoman of Libyan-Japanese Friendship Association praised efforts of the Leader of the Revolution, Chairman of the African Union, to establish security and peace across the African continent in particular and in the world.

During the meeting, aspects of cooperation between the General People's Congress, the Japanese parliament and the Libyan-Japanese Friendship Association and the agreements made between both countries during the past period were discussed.

The Chairwoman asserted her country's desire and keenness to open new horizons for cooperation between Libya and towards the African Union and the importance of signing cooperation and integration agreements between Libya and Japan in all fields.

Secretary of General Electric Company met this morning in Tripoli with Chairwoman of Libyan-Japanese Friendship Association, member of Japanese Parliament and her accompanying delegation currently visiting Libya.

During this meeting, attended by a number of Japanese businessmen and directors of Japanese companies, the two sides reviewed cooperation aspects between Japanese companies and General Electric Company in the field of production and distribution of electrical energy , establishment of gas generation plants to cope up with developmental program carried out in Libya in various fields .
