The tenth session of the Egypt-Libya Joint High Commission to re-launch cooperation between the two countries ended with resolutions to double trade between Libya and Egypt, abolish customs duties and regularise the flow of Egyptian workers in Egypt.
The details emerged at the meeting between the prime ministers of Egypt and Libya, Ahmad Nazif and Al-Baghdadi Ali Al-Mahmudi. Last Saturday Libya and Egypt consolidated their cooperation with the signing of 3 executive programmes, 4 memorandums of understanding and one industrial accord. The next session of the Egypt-Libya Joint High Commission, according to the final document signed in Tripoli, will be held in Cairo in February and will focus on the creation of industrial and free trade zones, with all the necessary services.
